DWELLER ON THE THRESHOLD

ABOUT

Margaret Ohley

I feel most at home on the threshold.

Since I was a child, I’ve had an innate need to straddle the space between the spiritual and physical realms — the liminal space. This inner knowing and magnetism to life's in-between spaces led me down a winding path to birth work.

As a registered nurse, my work has lived within a variety of settings, including a high-risk postpartum hospital unit, a birth center, and in-home ayurvedic postpartum care. These environments have allowed me to experience birth in many forms. I have also worked as part of the content team for global motherhood brand Artipoppe, allowing me a different avenue of exploring the beauty and complexity of the feminine.

Over time, my path has widened into a deeper devotion: to the energetic state of the feminine, the sacredness of her stories, and the creative field that surrounds and supports her. Today, I move within the quiet intersection of these realms, where care, creativity, and ceremony are in a constant dialogue.

Through holistic motherhood support, storytelling, and soul-aligned collaborations, it is the honor of a lifetime to walk alongside women as they move through the great thresholds of becoming — preconception, birth, postpartum, and creative expressions.
